The IGUANA HOSTEL is situated in a historic Barrio del Cerrillo, with a panoramic view from the terrace. The hostel is located near Santo Domingo a church surrounded and a colourful handcraft market, 2 blocks from the public market and only 7 minutes walk from the very heart of the city: la Catedral, el Parque Central and San Cristobal’s nightlife.
The nearest airport (Aeropuerto Internacional Angel Albino Corzo) is outside of Tuxtla Gutierrez (25 min.) and 1 hour 15 minutes drive from San Cristobal. There are shuttles and ADO buses (check on ADO page➡) from the airport to San Cristobal few times a day at 250 pesos/person. A direct taxi from the airport costs about 800-900 pesos.
The easiest way to get from the main bus station is to take a taxi ($40).
